Polished & Down-To-Earth Squarespace Website for a Psychiatry Practice in Colorado

Capturing your personality on a website can be challenging because none of us are just one thing. We’re multi-faceted and often balancing dualities, which is why combining all of our disparate parts into a cohesive, professional space can feel incredibly daunting.

Emily O’Keefe, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Denver, CO, ran into this problem as she was designing her private practice website; she wanted a website that conveyed her professionalism and her easygoing and approachable personality. These characteristics are not easy to balance, but Emily pulled it off with the help of the Folk template!

Where in the world are you located? I offer telepsychiatry services in the state of Colorado. I live in the Denver, Colorado area.

What do you love about the work that you do?

It’s a complete honor and joy to serve my clients and see them change their lives. I love seeing my clients cultivate a happier mindset, overcome their anxieties, or finally meet their productivity goals. I love seeing clients not just improve, but become triumphant in their lives - cultivating loving relationships, crushing-it at work, and meeting their financial goals. I love that I can offer a type of psychiatric care that involves so much more than just medications; I’m able to tailor custom holistic plans for clients to maximize their outcomes.

Which Hold Space Creative template did you purchase?

The Folk Template

Why did you choose this template?

I had an idea of the aesthetic I wanted - mountains/nature themed with a level of softness intertwined throughout, and I could tell Folk had the structure and palette that would fit exactly what I was going for.

What prompted you to choose my templates over others?

Many templates I looked at were too stuffy or stale - I offer integrative psychiatric services and I am serious about my profession, however my approach and personality are easygoing and approachable. I liked that your template could balance these dualaties - providing a polished look while conveying a sense of ease.

How did you feel about your previous website or the website-building process before purchasing a template from Hold Space Creative?

I felt overwhelmed. Squarespace had decent templates, but I wanted something that looked more polished and professional without the hefty price tag of a custom site. I also knew with my limited knowledge of building a website, I would need something that was very user-friendly.

How do you feel now that you've published your new website?

Relieved! I’m thrilled with how my website turned-out. I feel I was able to get the aesthetic I was aiming for with no knowledge of how to create my own website. I’m thrilled with the results.

How would you describe the process of using a Hold Space Creative template (from purchase to publish)?

Very, very easy, and great for someone with no knowledge of how to create a website. I loved that you offered assistance when I did have questions, but the process of putting my website together was so easy, I did not really require assistance.

What do you hope your new website does for you and your private practice?

I hope it helps me grow my practice! I love that I’ve created a home site that clients can visit and have a sense of what I can do to help them and who I am as a practitioner. I’m looking forward to growing my blog and offering more informative, helpful content for any visitors of the site.
