Queer Affirming Squarespace Website for an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist in California
If you’re considering using one of our premium Squarespace templates, but you’re unsure whether you’ll be able to make it look and feel like you, this one’s for you.
Rather than telling you that you can, in fact, adapt our website templates to match your personality, I thought I’d show you a perfect example of a therapist who made a few key changes to one of our most popular templates to create something entirely unique.
Meet Margot Stephenson (she/her), an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist who used the Flora template to create a safe and inviting online space:

Where in the world are you located? I am based in Los Angeles, offering telehealth therapy to California clients.
What do you love about the work that you do?
I love the privilege of witnessing people become unstuck. I love being a sounding board for individuals who are unsure where they’re going or unsure where they want to go. I love guiding folks on a journey towards their more authentic selves.
Which Hold Space Creative template did you purchase?
I chose Flora!
Why did you choose this template?
I felt Flora really nicely matched the fluidity of what I wanted to say. I like that there are circles, ovals, and movement that reflect the journey I hope to take with my clients.
What prompted you to choose my templates over others?
I liked that Hold Space Creative was tailored to therapists, and had thought about the things therapists might need for their sites.
How did you feel about your previous website or the website building process before purchasing a template from Hold Space Creative?
I like that Hold Space has movement and a lot of design considerations included already. With past sites or templates, I didn’t feel like it was so easy to make it look professional.
How do you feel now that you've published your new website?
Really proud!
How would you describe the process of using a Hold Space Creative template (from purchase to publish)?
Super easy, and the team was very responsive.
What do you hope your new website does for you and your private practice?
I hope my website communicates who I am as an Associate therapist in a way that draws clients to me that I can really make a difference for.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I especially like the tools to illustrate that I am a queer-practitioner.
