Creative, Collage-Inspired Squarespace Website for an Art Therapist
Erica Pang is a professional Art Therapist and artist based in Vancouver, Canada. She had built herself a basic website in the past using Squarespace, but it was time for an upgrade. Before deciding to purchase a Hold Space Creative template, she was overwhelmed:
“I didn't know where to start at all. I was looking at other people's websites trying to pick and choose what I liked but had a hard time organizing it all to even start. The thought of making a brand-new website felt so daunting in so many ways. I wasn't financially ready to invest in having a custom-built site as well, so I was trying to look for an in-between option.”
Erica ended up purchasing the Sol template to upgrade her website, and now she has a unique, creative website that features her artwork throughout. Keep reading to learn more about Erica and her behind-the-scenes process of using a Hold Space Creative Squarespace template!

Tell us about your work: Erica Pang is a professional Art Therapist and artist. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University and a Master’s level diploma from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. Since she was young, she used art as a tool for healing, expression and self-discovery. She wholeheartedly believes in the power of the creative process and art-making. Her passion is to hold space for her clients to express their emotions through art and share the gift of creativity to the world. She expresses herself best through paint on canvas — using energy, color, and intuition as her inspiration. Art is her life and life is her art, there is no separation.
“What I liked most about using a template from Hold Space Creative was that I knew it was an original design, so it’s not something that anyone could use on Squarespace. And the fact that it was designed specifically for coaches and therapists gave me a lot of peace of mind. It kind of took the guessing game out of how to build a website for myself, and it just made everything so clear and concise.”

I personally love how much Erica’s website feels like a collage! Each page looks as though strips of paper, images, and clips of artwork have been layered and arranged to create fresh and unique compositions throughout the website. Each page is different, yet they all seamlessly blend together.
Because Erica used professional brand images and images of her paintings, her personality can be felt within a split second of landing on her website - as a web designer for therapists and coaches, this is what I love to see!
