Calming, Minimalist Squarespace Website for New York City Therapist

Daniel Molina is the owner of Pause Counseling, a private practice based in New York City’s Flatiron neighborhood. Daniel provides therapy virtually throughout the state of New York, where he supports people through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and imposter syndrome.

Daniel customized the Sage template to create a minimalist website for his private practice that feels calming and serene. He also purchased a Semi-Custom Logo Suite, which complements his minimalist site design perfectly! I personally love how the colors and spaciousness of the website work together to create a sleek and streamlined experience that feels like a breath of fresh air.

Where in the world are you located? I am located in New York City, in the Flatiron area

What do you love about the work that you do?

I enjoy connecting and co-creating space with individuals to feel more grounded and confident in their daily life and live a more meaningful life by achieving their goals in our work together.

Which Hold Space Creative template did you purchase?

Sage Template

Why did you choose this template?

I purchased the Sage template as it suits my aesthetic and could see so many opportunities in customizing more for my practice. The template on its own was very inviting and that is something that I was looking for when deciding to complete a website.

What prompted you to choose my templates over others?

One of the things that prompted me to purchase from Hold Space Creative was the ease of use of the website and how prompt the template was provided. I was also looking for guidance and that is something that was provided as I have no experience in building a website.

How did you feel about your previous website or the website building process before purchasing a template from Hold Space Creative?

I had no idea where to start and kept putting it off. I attempted to try building a site on my own but felt lost and frustrated and needed guidance as it's something I never had before.

How do you feel now that you've published your new website?

Now that I have completed my website I feel a lot of relief that I was able to complete it on my own with the guidance of videos sent by Monica, which provided a lot of reassurance and trial and error. I have also received many compliments on my website and how inviting it is.

How would you describe the process of using a Hold Space Creative template (from purchase to publish)?

If I had to describe it in one word that would be "smooth". Everything was provided when promised or earlier which is great. Steps from start to publishing were simplistically explained, which I very much appreciated. Especially since I had no prior experience with website building.

What do you hope your new website does for you and your private practice?

Ideally, I hope that it helps my practice grow and gives my client some insight into who I am as a therapist.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

No, just thank you for making this process super easy and always being accessible if needed and making that clear.
